Mission: To improve maternal health outcomes of Black women and birthing people across the life course by conducting innovative human milk feeding (e.g. breastfeeding, chestfeeding, and donor human milk) and lactation research and engaging in policy and advocacy efforts, using a Black Feminist approach informed by Life Course Perspective, Reproductive Justice, Racial Equity, and Research Justice.
Vision: All Black women and birthing people, and their families will have access to high quality human milk feeding - breastfeeding and chestfeeding - resources, lactation support, and donor human milk.
