Human Milk Study

Study Title: Understanding Disparities in Human Milk Research Participation: Perspectives from Black Women and Birthing People

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify barriers and facilitators to participating in human milk or biomedical research from the perspectives of Black women and birthing people and workers in public health, community-based organizations, or healthcare settings.

Enrollment Currently Closed: Are you pregnant or parenting a child under the age of 5 years OR work in Public Health, Community-based Organizations, or Healthcare setting? We conducting a study on experiences related to participation in research studies, specifically breastfeeding, chestfeeding, and/or human milk research. Eligible participants will receive a $50.00 in gift card after completing an online qualitative survey. By understanding these experiences, we hope to improve recruitment and retention of Black people in breastfeeding, chestfeeding, and human milk research studies.
